Human Whack-A-Mole
This a very cool game that's perfect for a number of different types of events, from team building days and corporate event hire to school fetes, birthdays and family parties!
It's a laugh riot that usually ends in genuine belly laughs - Not just from the players but from the spectators too!
Like all good games, the idea is simple, but it does actually have a real competitive nature to it...
How Do you Play?
One player is in the middle of the inflatable, they have a fixed position and can turn 360 degrees. This player is the "whacker" and is provided a very soft, light-weight mallet (think sponge football - Hardly any mass to it, but looks impressive).
The middle player (the whacker) has a ring around them with soft-play balls. These are what the player is protecting, preventing players form stealing these balls by whacking them and sending them back down.
The game has slots for up-to 6 additional players to join in (although can be run with less). The other 6 players have positions all around the inflatable, evenly spaced out.
The players around the ring of the inflatable are essentially the human "moles". Their job is to steal the soft-play balls without being whacked by the player in the middle, if they are hit, then they go back down. The players have their own holes they pop through and can come up or down anytime they want to.
The game can end in any number of ways and be played differently. You can have different coloured balls with different point values, have each ball worth the same value and just be who has the most at the end, you can run the game on a timer so whoever has the most points or balls at the end wins, or just run the game until all the balls have been stolen. There's a lot of different ways to play it, but however you do end up running the game it's visually hilarious and will have everyone rolling in laughter.
How Many Players?
You need a minimum of 3 players for the game to be fun, but it supports up-to a maximum of 7 players at any one time. One player is always in the middle and is the "whacker" and the rest are the "moles" trying to steal the soft balls without being struck.
Age Range
This is best suited for ages 8 years and over. The users need to "peek" over the top and make a grab for the soft-play balls and the user in the middle needs to be large enough to effectively "whack" the other players. Some children are tall enough to use the equipment from a slightly younger age, but we recommend 8 years plus to be sure.
It's just as much fun for adult use as it is children, with this frequently being used for corporate fun days, weddings and events!
