Event Generator Hire
We have event generators ready to go! Our largest is a 60KVA set, which is trailer mounted. We tow the generator in and then secure it with it's own stabilisers; This obviously requires drive-on access to the site location. Sadly these generators are far too large and heavy to wheel or push.
How many Inflatables Can it Power?
Our 60KVA generator is capable of powering up to 35 inflatable bouncy castle fans, which we think is probably suitable to cover most of even the largest events by itself!
However, if you did need to power more than 35 inflatable fans for a single event, we are able to accommodate and provide more power easily.
Technically it can actually run up to 40 inflatable fans very comfortably and not at full load, but some fans are more power hungry than others. Most inflatables require a 1.5hp fan, but there are some that need bigger 2hp and even 3hp fans. This has an effect on power requirements and so we take an average and state that it will power 35 fans as a minimum.
Our Event generators have the largest fuel tanks possible, meaning that they will not run out of gas despite working hard for you all day. We could set the generator running at the crack of dawn and it would still happily be chugging away well into the late evening.
How Long Does it Last?
Our event generators have 300 litre capacity fuel tanks, which means that they can run at full capacity without any re-fuelling necessary for a full day with no limitations, which is very convenient when the event requires an early start set-up, long event run-time and then a late pack-away. There is no refuelling required, meaning continuos power, no down-time and no having to schedule an operator to come back to the event to refill it - It just keeps running! In fact, it could actually run like this for two days straight.
Why Hire the Generator From Us?
One of the great benefits of using a single vendor to provide the inflatables as well as the power is that you don't need to worry about any of the technical details - The power output, the connections, the cabling, the distros, three phase, 3 core, 5 core, 6mm core and all these other terms that only mean anything to people in that industry.
We're essentially providing power to ourselves and know exactly what the requirements are. You don't need to connect us with a middle man or a hire firm and have that lingering doubt as to whether it will work on the day and if something isn't available or not as expected, with all the finger pointing that goes with it. - You can rest assured that it will be completely managed for you.
The difference between us and sourcing your generator hire from elsewhere is that we're an event hire company - Not a plant hire or drop and go service. Quite often a regular generator hire company will provide the generator and may even deliver it for you (although often the expectation is that you will collect it yourself with additional costs for delivery), but they won't provide all of the distro boxes and certainly won't provide the cables. They are hiring the generator only!
What do you Include?
Not only do we include delivery as part of the cost, we also site and set-up the generator so it is running, load balanced and we also include all of the cabling and distribution boxes as well as the management of them. You don't need to worry about a separate vendor and whether they will come with any cables, converters, distros etc. We provide all of the necessary equipment, all PAT tested, all with MCB's and RCBO's to provide a safe event.

When you need a 60KVA generator it's fair to say that you're going to have a lot of inflatables. We always advice and recommend to have these all in a line, a horse-shoe shape, semi-circle or other shape that keeps the guests enclosed and enveloped; But with so many inflatables you sometimes need some where the cables run across a foot-path or where vehicle access is required.
In this instance we do always try to site the generator so that we never need to run cables across these paths - Running longer leads around the rear or the long way to get to the other side. Where that is logistically impossible though, we provide (free of charge) cable ramps that are capable or easily taking the full weight of HGV's as long as each axle does not exceed 8 tonnes.
We use 5 channel cable ramps, the best possible available! These ramps are rated for Lorries to cross over them safely (as long as each axle doesn't exceed 8 tonnes) while also keeping as many cables safe and secured as required; They take lots of cables rather than just mitigating a single lead.
What About Fuel?
Fuel is included as part of the hire cost. We don't have hidden charges... Our cost is a total cost. We include the fuel, we include the cabling, the cable ramps, the distros and the fuel.
Our aim here is to provide a total managed service for you. We don't want you to worry about the power or the logistics of cabling, refuelling etc. We don't charge extra for delivery and collection and there isn't some additional bill at the end for the fuel used. This is often something you need to weigh up and consider when searching for a generator hire, sometimes there are many hidden costs that aren't entirely clear to you upfront.
