7 berth chalet on Harts Holiday Park, Leysdown, Kent.

Leysdown is a popular holiday destination approximately 1 hour from London.

Harts has a kids Loopy Rabbit club daytime and eve (seasonal), outdoor playground, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna and with a small outdoor splash pool.

There is evening entertainment in the newly renovated clubhouse (seasonal). It is a family friendly site with stuff to do for all ages.  It has a fully stocked bar, pool table and access to wifi there is also a "nibble and munch" snack bar (reasonably priced). There is also a small separate arcade with games and fruit machines. 

In town, you will find a number of large arcades, chinese, fish and chips, pubs and restaurants to suit everyone. 

During the day you will find a couple of small markets two or three times a week, inflatable play by the beach with bouncy castles and bungee trampolines and a fair and seafood stalls. On Sundays and bank holiday Mondays there is a large boot sale approximately 5 minutes away with a huge range of stalls and also pony /horse riding.

Brambledown farm shop (5 mins drive) has a huge range of fresh farm produce and household items and a butchers.  The nearest supermarket is Tesco in Sheerness but the nearest mini market is situated by the gates to the park.  There is also a great bakers in town with delicious cakes, fresh sandwiches and hot food.  A new butchers has just opened in town which is great along with a spit roast!  There are lots of shops with beach wear and play items for the kids at great prices.

Below you will find details about each of the rooms at our chalet.

Additionally, we provide an external storage units with barbecue, windbreakers, chairs and table and some kids bikes/buckets and spade /water play and bikes for different ages (although most pink as we have girls) for you to use during your stay.

We also provide all the bedding and tea towels for your stay not to mention coffee, tea, milk and sugar upon your arrival!

The chalet overlooks the Kent countryside and has views for several miles (as far as Whitstable).  It is situated in a quiet corner of the park with a small grassy area to the front and large grassy field 1 min away for kite flying and ball games but only a few minutes walk from the clubhouse and its amenities.

 There is a launderette on site and the gentle shelving sandy/shell beach (ideal for children) is approximately 5 minutes walk. Lots of fun can be had crabbing with kids when the tide is out!

This property has been newly decorated during 2010 and will be undergoing more refurbishment during 2011 ready for the Summer.

The Chalet is 33ft x 16ft and is situated in a secluded corner of the park with views of the Kent Countryside yet still only a few minutes walk from the clubhouse and the beach. 

The Chalet is undergoing modernisation inside and out and the work will be completed by July 2010.

The living room is 16ft x 12ft and is large enough for any family.

It has a 3 seater sofabed, 2 seater sofa and 1 footstools.  It also has tv/freeview/dvd with some films to watch and a Sony Playstation 2 to keep the children amused.  It also has a cd/radio player.  There are books,  board games and colouring books/pencils for those chilled out days.

The kitchen/diner is separate from the sitting room and comes with a gas oven and hob, microwave oven, full sized fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster etc and a dining table to seat four people.  All you need is here ready for you. Please note, we also have a highchair available for younger guests.

The main bedroom is situated at the rear of the chalet and comes with a double bed, with storage underneath and wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 has children's bunk beds, a double wardrobe and small chest of drawers.  This room also has space for our travel cot (if required).

Please note these bunk beds are not suitable for adults.

Bedroom 3 has a single orthapedic bed and built in wall to wall storage with a hanging rail and shelves.  We also have a bedguard for young children. 

The travel cot will also fit in here if required,

The shower room is newly fitted with shower cubicle and electric shower 

Fantastic view across the Kent countryside with Whitstable in the distance.  A small grass area to the front to play and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun come down.
