How much ground space do I need to install a bouncy castle in my garden? You will need at least 1ft extra on either side of the bouncy castle and 4ft at the back for the blower. You will also need approximately 5ft in front of the castle, to ensure that there is enough space to place crash mats in front of the castle and to get on and off the castle safely. What type of surface do I need? We recommend that the castles are set up on a flat grassed area, however we can set up a castle on a hard surface is absolutely necessary. We ask for the area to be clear from anything that could damage the castle, such as sharp objects, glass, stones, overhanging branches, dog mess etc.. Can the castles go indoors? Our castles can be used in halls and other indoor venues, although you are required to check the height of the ceiling to ensure the castle will comfortable fit. If you book a castle before ensuring the area meets our requirements, we reserve the right not to erect the castle if we believe it to be dangerous or unsuitable. If this happens, we require 50% of the booking fee to be paid by the hirer. What happens if it rains? All of our castles come with sewn-in raincovers and so children will be protected during light rain. If it does begin to rain heavily we recommend that you should not use the castle. Please check the forecast the day before your booking date as we do not charge a cancellation fee prior to delivery. What time do you deliver the bouncy castle? We begin delivering at anytime between 8.00am and 12.00pm. We collect from 5.30pm. We ask for a responsible adult to be at home at the time of delivery. What is the Disclaimer? When we deliver the castle, you will be required to sign the Disclaimer Form to say that you have fully read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Hire and safety aspects. Is all your equipment safety tested? All of our castles are tested annually to ensure they meet industry standards regarding safety. Many of our new castles are PIPA tagged and tested. The extension leads will all have RCD plugs fitted. Do you have Public Liability Insurance? Yes. We do have Public Liability Insurance up to £1 million, which would cover any accidents which were as a result of our negligence, such as equipment failure or failing to install the inflatable properly. You are responsible for the supervision of the inflatable during the hiring period. Any injuries/accidents caused other than by our negligence are not covered by our insurance policy. Would you take the Bouncy Castle through the house to get into the back garden?
Yes, at the household owners risk if there is no back/side gate in use. Bouncy castles are rather bulky and heavy when deflated. Therefore we can only manage going up or down a few steps. How does the castle stay up? We use an electric blower, which stays on continually whilst the castle is in use. We will need access to a power supply within 75 feet of the castle. The castle takes about 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack away. When and how do I pay? We ask for full payment in cash on delivery of the castle. How do I book? You can book a castle by either contacting us by telephone or by going to our contact page and sending an email. You will receive confirmation of your booking either by email or by post - subject to sufficient notice of the booking being given. Do you hire the castles out overnight? All of our adult castles are available for overnight hire, we prefer not to hire the children's castles overnight but providing we receive assurances from the hirer that no adults will use it then we will consider it. However, due to the high number of thefts which occur within the industry with overnight hires we are quite strict about the circumstances. It can only be left in a secure rear garden and we require a £20 cleaning deposit, which is refunded if the castle is returned in a clean and tidy condition, and we normally require two forms of identification, a driving licence/passport and a utility bill.
